Causes of Bat Odor and How to Remove the Smell

Although bats are harmless to humans, the issue begins when they drop urine or feces at your home, office, or anywhere that results in strong odor that can attract a lot of other insects. Waste of bat and odor can also cause serious health issues.

There are two major causes of odors

• Bat feces
• Bat urine

1. Wear protective cloth 

Do not forget to wear protective cloth when you are going to remove the waste or odor of the bat.Bat feces are consisting of a fungus named Histoplasma capsulatum, and human that is working on waste can infect with histoplasmosis.
